Cancellation Process

Withdrawal & Cancellation Procedures

Deciding to withdraw from an academic program can be challenging. The American Board of Higher Education Commission is dedicated to guiding students throughout this process. Before finalizing your decision, we strongly encourage you to consult with our team, as many issues with your education provider can often be addressed or resolved, allowing you to continue your studies uninterrupted.

Early consultation is critical. With timely support from (ABHEC), you may explore alternative academic solutions, financial guidance, or program adjustments that could prevent the need to withdraw. However, if withdrawal is unavoidable, it is mandatory to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Cancellation through (ABHEC) in compliance with U.S. government registration policies.

Before proceeding, review the withdrawal and cancellation fees specified in your registration form under Academic Regulations. Charges may vary depending on:

  • Your enrolled academic program
  • The stage at which you initiate withdrawal
  • Whether you are a recipient of a U.S. government-funded scholarship
  • Additional administrative or procedural factors

Noncompliance with the official cancellation procedure may be considered a breach of governmental regulations. In such instances, (ABHEC) reserves the right to report noncompliant cases to the relevant authorities. This is particularly important for scholarship recipients, as improper withdrawal could affect the management of government funds.

To formally initiate the withdrawal, students must submit an official Withdrawal Form. The final cancellation cost is determined by program type, scholarship approval status, field of study, and other case-specific considerations. All students, whether scholarship recipients or regular candidates, must cooperate fully with (ABHEC) to ensure accurate processing and compliance.
